About

Welcome to my digital corner. I'm a software developer with over four decades of experience—having started writing code way back in 1982—and a lifelong passion for building things that work.

This site is a collection of my notes, photographs, and projects (past, present, and future). After a forced reboot following a hosting disaster that wiped out my old WordPress database, I’ve rebuilt this space from the ground up using a cleaner, simpler, database-free approach.

Here, you'll find a mix of:

• Notes: Thoughts on software development, tech standards, and the lessons learned along the way.
• Photographs: Capturing moments around the coast, including landscape photography and local gems like the Cleveland foreshore.
• Projects: A look at what I'm working on—from retro 8-bit games and modern apps to past creations and future ideas.

Thanks for dropping by and following along on this new chapter. Grab a coffee, look around, and enjoy the journey.
