There's something truly special about the end of the day by the water. It’s not just the cooling breeze or the fading light; it’s that fleeting, golden moment when the sky and sea seem to hold their breath before the sun disappears.

This evening, I found myself down at the Old Cleveland Lighthouse, and I'm so glad I did. The timing was perfect. The sun, a blazing coin of orange, was sinking low to the west, casting a brilliant, shimmering path right across the calm bay waters.

The park was quiet, save for a few figures enjoying the last of the warmth, their silhouettes beautifully defined against the fiery backdrop. The iconic white lighthouse stood sentinel on the right, its structure subtly lit by the fading sun's rays. Even the road markings in the foreground, usually so mundane, caught the golden hour glow, leading the eye straight to the horizon.

It’s the kind of sunset that makes you pause, take a deep breath, and appreciate the simple beauty of living in this coastal gem. I hope this photo captures a little bit of that magic for you.

Until next time, keep chasing the light.
